East meets West with the arrival of Salon de Ning, a new rooftop bar and terrace recently unveiled at The Peninsula New York. Offering guests panoramic views over 5th Avenue and the glittering skyline of Manhattan, Salon de Ning features an intimate interior bar with an eclectic art collection, complemented by two large outdoor terraces with Chinese-style day beds for relaxing and taking in the stunning views.

A New Look
In October 2008, The Peninsula will raise the bar for New York spas with the unveiling of the new Peninsula Spa by ESPA. Designed by Alexandra Champalimaud of Champalimaud & Associates, the Spa will feature 12 treatment rooms including one spacious couple's suite. A comprehensive menu of treatments will offer the only ESPA-branded spa experience in New York. The fitness area and pool is also undergoing extensive refurbishment, providing a spectacular rooftop oasis.
